Print Advertising
For a Copy Advertising course, assignment requirements consisted of creating visually appealing print ads, billboard ads, and/or subway ads focusing on copy. The ads feature taglines, headlines, and product benefits.
Poppi
A subway ad that is informative and eye-catching promotes a prebiotic soda of the future—designed with Poppi’s Gen Z target audience and brand aesthetic in mind through the use of vibrant colors, appealing terminology that is relevant to the times, and product benefits. The headline “Pop Open a Poppi” also promotes enjoying a soda while keeping up with the next big health-conscious Soda product.
Organic Valley
A striking and abstract Organic Valley print ad communicates that eggs can be consumed anytime and have many health benefits. The headline “Day or Night Enjoy Sunny Side Up” emphasizes that eggs are not just a breakfast food but can be enjoyed anytime. At the same time, it promotes the health value that eggs bring throughout the ad by strategically arranging key benefits within the ad.
Van Leeuwen
A billboard ad promoting a product extension line (Brainstormed in a group project) showcases three new vegan and dairy-free ice cream bar flavors infused with THC. The headline “Not Your Average Sugar High” is a play on words as a sugar high is referenced when indulging in elevated sugar levels, but in this case, the high is from the THC. Additionally, a creative twist on Van Leeuwen’s packaging includes a fan leaf filled with a close-up of the new flavors.
